In fulfilling this commitment to protect both people and property, management will provide and maintain a safe and healthy work environment, in accordance with industry standards and in compliance with legislative requirements, and will strive to eliminate any foreseeable hazards which may result in property damage, accidents, or personal injury/illness.

We recognize that the responsibility for health and safety are shared.
All employees will be equally responsible for minimizing accidents within our facilities and on our work sites.

The management of ConstructART. is vitally interested in the health and safety of its workers. Protection of workers from injury or occupational disease is a major continuing objective.

ConstructART. fully recognizes that all workers have the right to work in a safe and healthy work environment that promotes occupational health.

All managers, supervisors, workers and subcontractors must be dedicated to the continuing objective of reducing risk of injury. All visitors and subcontractors to our business will be responsible for health and safety the same way as our employees and should attend all required health and safety meetings.

Supervisors will be held accountable for the health and safety of workers under their supervision. Supervisors are to ensure that machinery and equipment are safe and that workers work in compliance with established safe work practices and procedures. Workers must receive adequate training in their specific task to protect their health and safety.

Every worker must protect their own health and safety by learning about the hazards of the workplace, working in compliance with the law and with safe work practices and procedures established by this company, its clients and the general contractor. In addition, workers must refuse to perform all unsafe work. Workers will receive information, training and competent supervision in their specific work tasks to protect their health and safety.

It is the commitment of ConstructART. to work in a spirit of consultation and cooperation with employees; to develop and implement our H&S program, and to identify and resolve any health and safety issues. The policies and procedures within ConstructART.’s Health and Safety program manual provides reference to OHS responsibilities for all workplace parties and is consistent with the Occupational Health & Safety Act & Regulations.

ConstructART., as an employer, is ultimately responsible for worker health and safety. As president, I give you my personal commitment that I will comply with my duties under the Occupational Health and Safety Act, such as taking every reasonable precaution for the protection of workers in the workplace.
